Females are visibly larger and more robust than males, typically reaching 1.5 to 2.5 centimeters in body length (excluding legs). Their long, sturdy legs are covered in fine, sensory hairs. Like all wolf spiders, they possess a unique eye arrangement: a bottom row of four small eyes, two prominent, forward-facing eyes in the middle row, and two smaller eyes positioned further back on the head.
