Aspecto

The flowers are arranged in characteristic curled, scorpion-tail-like clusters (scorpioid cymes) that uncoil as they bloom. Each bell-shaped blossom is a deep, vivid royal purple to indigo, highlighted by bright, golden-yellow stamens protruding conspicuously from the center.
