A short, selective garden visit
Allow roughly 60–90 minutes for one main garden and a rest. Start at the entrance map and choose the collection that is most rewarding today. In flower season, make the rose or hydrangea garden the main stop; otherwise choose a collection that interests you. Spend time there, then retrace a comfortable signed route. This is a suggested visit allowance rather than an official walking time.
The rose and hydrangea gardens have documented wheelchair and stroller access. Ask staff to identify a suitable connection from the entrance, especially after wet weather.
