Jangcheonjae: choose an eastern summit approach
Jangcheonjae is a documented eastern starting point for Cheongwansan. At the gateway, use the current park map to select an open ascent to Yeondaebong and confirm your descent before leaving. Returning by the same signed path is the simplest planning choice when you do not know the mountain. Allow roughly 4–5 hours including pauses. This suggested allowance includes time to enjoy the mountain; your selected branch and pace determine the actual walking time.
Expect a hill walk on uneven mountain ground, with rocky sections higher up. A short distance on a map is not a useful measure of whether the route suits your mobility.
