Circuito das Águas
Águas is the shorter first-visit choice, with Ponte de Pedra, Cachoeira dos Macacos and Lago dos Espelhos among its stops. Lago das Miragens adds a striking contrast: reddish water, coloured by decomposing leaves, beneath a quartzite wall. The operator’s pages give approximately 5–5.2 km return. Treat the circuit as places to enjoy, not a promise of safe swimming. Ask which stops are open and where you can comfortably turn back. There is plenty to notice without reaching every attraction.
The official classification includes irregular or stepped terrain. The shortest circuit is not synonymous with a smooth promenade, and a light marketing description should not be read as a mobility guarantee.
