A short reed-path visit
If you only want a short outing, ask for the currently open approach to the reed path and make it an out-and-back walk. The operator describes reeds along both sides and fencing along the path. Set a comfortable turnaround point while you still have energy for the return. Allow about 30–45 minutes, including stops; extend only if the surface, weather and return time suit you. The official reed-path page introduces the named area and its seasonal appearance.
