A slow walk to the Bird Sanctuary
Begin at Kasai-Rinkai Park Station and follow the park signs toward the Bird Sanctuary on the eastern side. Make the Watching Center your first main stop, then choose a few open viewing windows or hides along the sanctuary’s public paths. Return by the same open approach whenever you are ready. Allow 2–3 hours including the walk, quiet observation and a break; there is no need to complete a circuit of both ponds.
Before setting out, compare your approach with the barrier-free map. Some sanctuary paths are shown as 1.2–under 1.8 m wide. Ask which viewing windows, toilet and center entrance work for you; a shorter visit is a good option if paths or viewing heights are awkward.
