Short woodland approach from the Covalagua car park
Use the signed Covalagua parking area reached via Revilla de Pomar, then the established approach towards the recreation area and waterfall viewing points. This is the compact way to concentrate on the spring without taking on the village circuit. Pause before the water to look at the change from the surrounding limestone to the porous cascade deposits. Return by the same permitted approach; an uphill continuation onto the plateau makes a different walk. Allow 45–90 minutes including stops.
The shorter approach includes surfaced sections, but published assisted-access wording applies to a particular section, not an independently accessible circuit. Ask locally about gradients, gates and the final viewing point that suits your equipment.
