Ran de mar: ses Covetes to es Marquès
The official leaflet follows the shore from s’Arenal d’en Tem, reached through ses Covetes, to es Marquès by Colònia de Sant Jordi. Its 3.866 km is one way, with a published time of 2 hours. The sa Barralina parking approach adds about 500 m to ses Covetes before reaching the beach. For the full outing, allow 2–3 hours one way with stops and organise your return. For a shorter visit, spend 30–45 minutes going out from ses Covetes, then retrace your route. Neither option requires an inland loop.
The leaflet rates this coastal walk as low difficulty. Sand, natural surfaces and exposed sections can still be tiring, and the route should not be treated as a continuous firm-surfaced or wheelchair-accessible path.
