Villaescusa to the Laberinto: a flexible first visit
Leave the car in the indicated village parking, walk through Villaescusa towards the limestone upland and find the route panel. Follow the signed ascent to the Laberinto and the main path towards Peña Mesa. Take only branches that you can confidently retrace, then return by the known approach. Allow 1½–2½ hours including stops; this is a suggested out-and-back visit, with no fixed distance because your turnaround point and time among the rocks vary.
Expect an uphill approach followed by irregular limestone underfoot. Shortness does not make it step-free. Keep enough energy for the descent and avoid narrow passages if balance or confidence is limited.
