The grove’s visitor paths
Begin at the signed entrance and use the boardwalk and designated paths according to your mobility and the conditions that day. There is no need to complete a longer surrounding-forest walk to enjoy the redwoods. Read the junction signs and retrace your approach when you have seen enough; this suggested visit does not prescribe a loop or a turn-by-turn route.
The boardwalk is the most useful starting option for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Other sections include slopes and steps. Do not treat an “easy walk” description as a guarantee of step-free access.
