Caleta de Sebo–Bahía del Salado: a short coastal out-and-back
From the village, follow current signs to the southern pedestrian coastal route towards Bahía del Salado, the opening section of OAPN’s route towards Playa de la Cocina. Keep to the established path and turn back at the bay or earlier if conditions call for it. The pleasure is the changing view back towards Caleta de Sebo and the wall of Famara across the channel, with time to pause rather than a distant beach as a target. Allow 45–75 minutes including stops and your return; the precise distance depends on where you start and turn.
Loose sand and uneven, unsealed ground make this a walking outing rather than a verified wheelchair or pushchair route. There is no dependable natural shade. Check the initial surface before committing to the whole segment.
