Northern trees and the ría
Allow 60–90 minutes. Approach from the Moncloa/Paseo de Moret side and choose public paths into the older northern sector. The ría lies between Avenida de Séneca and Paseo de Ruperto Chapí. Follow a comfortable stretch beside it, then return without committing to every bend. Tourism Madrid gives the watercourse’s length as about 600 metres; that is not the length of this suggested visit. Make time for the trees, waterside vegetation and botanical labels.
The heritage record describes a cobbled path on the stream’s north bank; slopes and uneven joints can be awkward for small wheels. This is a flexible visit suggestion, not a measured accessible circuit. Choose broader paths where these suit you better.
