Estajao: use the currently authorised approach
The reserve’s specific advice is to follow the camino del mazón, the flood-defence embankment track, towards the Estajao footbridge and avoid the floodable part of the trail. Start at the reserve’s signed visitor access, follow the latest signs and make the walk as short as your group needs. Treat the permitted approach as an out-and-back unless staff confirm an open continuation; confirm footbridge access before crossing or continuing.
Ask about the approach surface, any gates, slopes and the footbridge itself if you use wheels or have limited mobility. The published “low difficulty” description of the standard trail does not establish accessible passage on a diverted route.
