Lake and mammoth: the compact family choice
Follow signs from an open entrance towards the lake and mammoth. Visit the sculpture first if it gives children a clear goal, then choose one comfortable lakeside stopping place. Watch the water from the path and compare the reflected trees. Add a ground-level view of the cascade if the connecting path is open and everyone has energy. Return by a known open path rather than trying to complete a circuit behind barriers. Allow 30–45 minutes including stops.
Keep this as a ground-level out-and-back if step-free movement matters. Stay clear of the lake edge and omit any stair approach to the cascade; no continuous accessible circuit has been surveyed.
